CPAP Compliance

Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machines are used for the treatment of sleep apnea and snoring. These machines must be used properly for the most effective results. One-on-one sessions with our therapists help patients understand the proper use of the machine and have increased CPAP compliance by up to 98%.

TAP Compliance

The Thornton Adjustable Positioner (TAP) is a simple solution to snoring. It works by locking in your teeth and pulling your jaw forward, which leaves the airway in the throat open. This patient-friendly device eliminates one of the risks associated with mild sleep apnea (snoring), and our onsite dentist works with you to create a custom fit and make adjustments so it is comfortable for you.

I have had nothing but excellent care. I primarily see Jenna, the nurse practioner. It was months before my Family Practice group was able to get me an appointment with a sleep specialty group. I have some challenges due to a small face, blocked sinuses and a small mouth. She is working with me to solve the problems and solve my sleep apnea with a treatment that solves the problem. I truly feel like we share the same goal and work well together. Thank you!!

Great experience. I was a little leery because I didn’t know what to expect, but Kayla put me at ease and the two other techs who worked with me were kind and patient. Bed was very comfortable!

My prior Doctor had retired and needed to find a new one. I was going to transfer to another within the group. But when I went to their office, I was not impressed and I hadn’t even met the Doctor. i decided to stop in Columbus Sleep Consultants (my niece referred me) and the gal at the front desk made an appointment in a couple of days (had to wait a month with other facility). The Doctor spent time with me and found another issue I had and started me on treatment right away. And his staff is awesome, professional, but also friendly and courteous.

Kimberly at your call center helped me with my insurance cards not being in the system correctly. She was absolutely awesome and was so very sorry for my inconvenience regarding this. I have had many dealings with doctors offices and I will say she was professional and got my situation handled in a very timely manner. Kudos to her and I hope she gets the recognition that she deserves.

Have had nothing but great experiences here. I went to their Lancaster office. All of the employees I have came into contact with are very friendly. They have always been on time with my appointments. They actually redid testing originally done by another practice because they suspected the first test was not accurate. They discovered I was narcoleptic from the second test and I began treatment immediately . If it wasn’t for the second test I would still be undiagnosed. Thank you Columbus Sleep Consultants.

SC is the third Sleep Medicine Practice I have been to in 5 years and is by far the best. No practice is perfect, but when I do have the occasional problem with staff or an office procedure, they are willing to actually listen to my feedback and correct the issue. Jenna Chinnock is by far the absolute best Nurse Practitioner I have EVER had the pleasure of working with. She is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable in her field. She is always willing to listen to you, and I have never felt rushed through an appointment, despite their heavy patient load. I say this having seen hundreds of nurses, CNP’s, and doctors over the past 30 years. Jenna is a better provider than even many of the Doctors I have interacted with over that time. If you decide to choose CSC as your provider, I would highly recommend that you request to see Jenna. I had been a faithful CPAP user for over two years when I had my first appointment with Jenna. I have a complicated medical history, and had been having sleep issues again. She carefully listened to my story, thoroughly covered my medical history, and ordered a couple of different sleep tests. After the testing, she was able to diagnose my issues and prescribe medication to help. My sleep issues have DRASTICALLY improved, and as a result many of my other health issues have improved as well. We currently have a few small things to tweak out, but I have absolute faith that she will help correct those things as well! Columbus Sleep Consultants is an awesome fit for me, and an outstanding choice if you are looking to correct your sleep issues! I give them (and Jenna especially) 6 out of 5 stars!
Five Stars Reviews for Columbus Sleep Consultants

I have been a patient here for a decade. The other reviewers here have described problems that I have encountered over that time. The doctor who owns this practice, Dr. Sammadder is not one I can recommend. He is more interested in selling than in keeping up with his patients’ needs. Many of the staff show classic signs of poor leadership by being generally unreachable or unresponsive.
However, I have several reasons for my 5-star review. Sleep medicine as a whole is incredible and should be a more common diagnostic tool. If you show any signs of sleep disorders then request a referral to be tested here. My multiple experiences with the testing personnel both in Columbus and Lancaster have been very positive and I would definitely recommend the facilities and staff with a 4-star review.
The five-star review is of Dr. Saha the second physician in the practice. Over the previous decade there have been so many doctors and physician assistants working for Dr. Samadder that without Dr. Saha’s longevity I would probably rate the entire practice 2 stars. I was bounced around among these and Dr. Samaddder for years. Finally I requested to see Dr. Saha and I am so glad that I did. Dr. Saha has corrected problems with my sleep therapy that had gone unrecognized by others practicing here. He has been responsive to my questions. In addition to treating me with respect he has been empathetic and caring. My mother also has seen Dr. Saha for several years and she agrees that he is an excellent doctor. Thankfully, the practice is set up to allow you to request Dr. Saha directly and I advise you to do so.
